In the Event industry we enjoy discovering new, exciting spaces to exhibit in. It’s part of what makes our work so engaging. And most importantly, it allows us to have a wide range of venues from which to choose the ideal space for our exhibition stands. We appreciate variety, and luckily in the UK there are a number of places we can choose to work with.
One of the exciting prospects on the horizon is the new Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC). Having been met with the seal of approval from the Council, the new site in Bucksburn, Aberdeen, will house a range of adaptable spaces. It is confirmed that the £207 million pound project will complete in 2019, and will host The Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST) Conference as its first official event. The people behind the project are looking to ensure the AECC is in a position to compete with the global players in other cities around the world, enticing the big names in entertainment. And by using the banner ‘Evolve’, they are keen to highlight the reinvigoration of the old exhibition centre into something bigger and more easily adaptable, in line with public demands.
We are certainly looking forward to seeing another exceptional exhibition space added to the UK’s already impressive repertoire, not to mention the opportunity to design and construct your exhibits there come 2020!
