Why The City?

Why London?

Samuel Johnson once said: ‘When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life’. We think it’s safe to say that won’t be happening to many in 2016. A report by an event-management company, Cvents, has just been published stating that London has been ranked the best destination in Europe for meetings and events.

‘The 2016 report also outlines the top 50 cities in the United States, and the top 25 in the Asia Pacific (APAC) regions, compiled according to meeting and event booking activity through the Cvent Supplier Network. In Europe, Middle East and Africa, London took first place in the ranking, followed by Barcelona, just as in 2015. Amsterdam climbed into the top three, while Paris dropped to fourth place. Czech Republic entered the top 10, moving up from number 11 in 2015 and for the first time Dubai represented the Middle East (Exhibitionnews.co.uk 2016).’

With such a wide variety of exhibition spaces, including: Barbican Exhibition Facilities; ExCel London; Olympia London; East India Dock Road Exhibitions; and Truman Brewery, Brick Lane to name just a few. And not to mention to wide variety of hotels, bars, concert halls, art galleries and warehouses on offer to prospective clients, it’s not surprising that we remain excited by the opportunities London offers.
